Allina Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Palliative Care Program in Minneapolis. You will work in inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a physician/nurse team, providing diagnosis, treatment, and education to patients with complex illnesses.
The role requires NP leadership within a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities spanning assessments, care planning, and coordination.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner studies or equivalent accredited program.
- Current Minnesota RN license and NP certification per hire.
- ANCC certification in the NP specialty required or at least by date of hire.
- MN Board of Nursing NP certification required within specialty.
Responsabilités
- Provide clinical care for patients as part of a physician/nurse team.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and determine diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and therapies; order and interpret diagnostics.
- Educate patients and families; coordinate with care teams and outside specialists.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and primary care teams for program development.
