Job summary

UConn Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Palliative Support Care in Farmington, CT. The APRN will collaborate with oncology providers to deliver comprehensive supportive/palliative care to cancer patients in an outpatient setting at the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The role includes independent care delivery, cross-disciplinary coordination, and adherence to CoC standards. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, full-time schedule (four 10-hour shifts, Mon-Fri), and competitive

Qualifications

• APRN certification from an accredited program.
• Valid Connecticut nursing license to practice.
• Oncology/APN experience preferred within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and co-manage a complex oncology population.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and evaluate patient conditions.
• Develop and implement medical plans with the oncology team.
