Job summary

HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an experienced Palliative Nurse Practitioner in Providence, RI. This role collaborates with physicians and care teams to relieve suffering and manage complex symptoms in seriously ill patients across multiple settings.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, NP certification in RI/MA, and licensure as RN/NP with prescriptive authority. 40 hours weekly, benefits eligible, with salary range $120,000 to $145,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing with NP certification (RI/MA).
• Current RI/MA RN and NP licensure with prescriptive authority.
• 1–3 years in nurse practitioner role, preferably palliative care; geriatrics/acute care experience.
• Experience in pain and symptom management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including pain and symptom management.
• Collaborate with referring providers to develop goals of care.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, home, and clinic settings.
