Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is hiring a Medical Assistant II to support patient care under a licensed practitioner's delegation in our Orange, CA clinic. The role builds on MA I responsibilities and requires adherence to policies and clinical procedures to ensure quality patient care.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on MA training, at least 6 months of MA experience, and activation of BLS within 30 days of hire. The position offers full-time hours and a path within Providence Clinical Network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces, or equivalent educ/experience.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months of healthcare experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform clinical duties for assigned clinic/location in accordance with policies and regulations.
