Palliative Care Faculty Physician

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a full-time clinical and academic physician for the multidisciplinary Palliative Care service line in its flagship location of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

• Provide direct patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide clinical supervision and teaching for two fellows in training in the Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship program
• Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with rotational weekend hospital and call coverage
• Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides excellent care for all patients
  
  

The position consists of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a single location on the hospital campus. You will have access to full support staff, including nursing, social work, and chaplain support. The medical group is a multi-specialty group that includes specialists in primary care, pulmonary medicine, endocrinology, palliative care, cardiology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, and other surgical specialties. You will enjoy a great work-life balance in a rapidly growing city with year-round sunshine, excellent schools, and plenty of outdoor activities.

In 2018, it was announced that Creighton would expand once again, this time opening a full four-year medical school campus in Phoenix to become the largest Catholic health professions eductor in the nation. #HEC
