Job summary

University of Washington Health System is inviting applications for a clinical practice faculty position in the Division of General Internal Medicine. The role spans Assistant to full Professor of Clinical Practice, with duties across the Palliative Care Service at UWMC-Montlake and affiliated sites.

You will teach, mentor, and contribute to a diverse academic community, in a 12-month, 3-year term starting Sept 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Washington State Medical License or eligibility.
• USMLE steps completion for visa sponsorship as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend as physician on the Palliative Care Service across UWMC-Montlake, FHCC, Harborview and UWMC-NW.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows and medical students.
• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive academic community.
