Job summary

The West Virginia University Health System is seeking a Palliative and Supportive Care Physician to practice primarily in South Charleston, WV and Charleston, WV. The role focuses on Palliative Care medicine within the WVUHS Medical Group.

Qualifications include MD/DO, residency in internal or family medicine, fellowship in palliative care, and board certification/eligibility in Palliative Medicine. This is an exempt, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek and EOE commitment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license.
• Residency in internal medicine or family medicine and fellowship in palliative care by the time of appointment.
• Board certified / board eligible in Palliative Medicine.

The successful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice in the primary location of South Charleston, WV and Charleston, WV.

Duties:

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Palliative Care medicine.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license.

Successful candidate must have completed residency in internal medicine or family medicine and fellowship in palliative care by the time of appointment. Successful candidates must be board certified / board eligible in Palliative Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
