Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in North America seeks a Palletizer Operator to tend the automatic can palletizer and ensure continuous line production. You will monitor the equipment, pull jams, and help maintain quality and efficiency on the line.

The role requires adherence to safety SOPs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be prepared for overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Personal Protective Equipment
• Detail oriented
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Tends automatic can palletizer to ensure continuous line production.
• Operate controls to restore machine to automatic status.
• Pull defective cans and clear jams from palletizers and conveyors.
• Check layers of cans for full pattern pack and replace missing/defective cans.
• Counts, records, and disposes of spoilage.
• Reports to supervisor any incidences of equipment malfunction or defective cans or packing materials.
• Continuously inspects visually for defective product.
• Maintains the highest level of housekeeping.
