Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a manufacturing associate to sort, transfer, and stack finished product on pallets. You will read packaging specifications to ensure correct pallet type and arrangement, and align operations with business objectives.

The role requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs and strong communication across teams. Preferred candidates have manufacturing experience and can work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English; strong communication across levels.
• Mechanical Aptitude and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Some computer knowledge is required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read packaging specifications to ensure correct pallet type and arrangement as per spec.
• Observe conveyor to identify defective cases or labeling errors.
• Operate palletizer selector to control stacking and transfer loaded pallets.
• Provide loading equipment with empty pallets and slip sheets.
• Clear jams by stopping and restarting equipment, report malfunctions to supervisor.
