Job summary

Crown Holdings in Dubuque, IA is seeking an entry-level Equipment Operator to support high-speed can production. You will operate palletizing and packing equipment, inspect finished cans and ends, and assist the line crew to maintain smooth production flow.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable quality checks in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, supporting maintenance tasks, and adhering to SOPs while contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Vocation or technical certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automatic can palletizer, including inserting separator sheets and top frames.
• Sort and inspect cans, print pallet tickets, perform quality checks.
• Keep the work area clean and organized; assist line maintainer as needed.
• Assist in loading and feeding metal coils when requested; replace/realign cans as needed.
• Operate bulk packing machinery to load/unload cans onto pallets; maintain pallet sequence.
