Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a dedicated Palletizer for our Vernon facility. You will palletize finished goods and assist with production tasks while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards.

The role requires basic arithmetic, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong organizational skills. You will operate within GMPs, SQF and GDP guidelines and participate in a dynamic production team.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

To palletize finished goods being produced by Production. Reports case count to production. Vernon facility

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Palletizes product produced in Vernon Facility.
• Reports any food safety or quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action.
• Follows J&J Snack Food’s all OSHA safety rules, Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Follows all food safety laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Palletizer will be responsible for maintaining food quality and safety within the plant.

Food quality and safety issues must be reported to Quality Assurance Manager and or Plant Manager.

In the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager or Plant Manager, food quality and safety issues will be brought to the attention of the General Manager.

US Hourly Pay Range

$18.04 - $18.04 USD
