Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable candidate to operate the SMETCO pallet sorting machine in a fast-paced production environment in New Jersey. You will perform sorting by manufacturer, quality, and grade, conduct inspections, and assist with forklift loading/unloading as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with on-the-job training provided. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the company offers comprehensive benefits and career

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn machine and forklift operation (experience is a plus but not required).
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work well with diverse coworkers.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large industrial pallet sorting machine to sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade.
• Perform hands-on inspections and manual sorting as needed.
• May operate a forklift (training & certification provided) to load/unload trailers and move materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace through "Clean as You Go" practices.
• Lift up to 70 lbs consistently and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
• Meet production and quality goals while working collaboratively with your team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.
