Overview

As a Machine Operator you areresponsible for sorting pallets to grade using a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter. The Machine Operator is responsible to inspect the quality of all pallets and assign a grade, while removing all trash and debris.. This is the perfect role for someone looking to maintain high levels of activity and it is vital to the success of our customer’s production!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr. - $19.00/hr.

Shift(s):

3rd Shift: Thursday 11:00am - 5:0pm and Friday - Sunday5:00am - 5:00pm

What You'll Do

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights

• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand

• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center

• Check loads to make sure they are secure

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards

• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system

• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress

• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
