Job summary

GDI Services Inc US in Hammond, IN is seeking a dependable pallet handler to operate in our warehouse environment. The role involves manual pallet sorting, trailer unloading, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following client standards.

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must pass background and drug screenings, be able to lift 35+ lbs, and wear steel-toe safety shoes; forklift experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must undergo Infomart background screening.
• Must undergo a basic drug screening.
• Must be able to lift 35+ lbs.
• Fork-lift experience desired but not required.
• Must have Steel-toe Safety Shoes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sort pallets.
• Empty trailers and load sorted pallets.
• Clear, sweep, and organize areas including janitorial cleaning.

This role will use pallet-handling equipment in addition to manual manipulation to effectively sort and organize pallets according to company and client standards. You will also be responsible for managing the pallet sorting area ensuring that it is clean and orderly.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday @ 3:00PM - 7:30PM
• Clean and sort pallets
• Empty trailers and load sorted pallets
• Clear, sweep, and organize areas including Janitorial cleaning
