Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Richmond, VA. This is a piece-rate role; you’ll repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood and earn more as you complete more pallets. The shift is 1st shift, Mon-Fri 7:00am–2:30pm, with hourly pay of $15.00.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift ~50 lbs. Prior lumber/warehouse/construction experience is preferred. You must be detail-oriented, able to communicate well, and willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift pallets (~50 lbs) on a regular basis.
• Past lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Good communication and ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along stringers.
• Stack finished product for forklift movement to appropriate areas.
• Follow safety procedures to protect self and others.
• Maintain high quality while achieving high output.
