Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Pallet Repair Reman in Richmond, IL. The role involves rebuilding pallets from recycled materials and repairing damaged pallets to return them to service-ready condition.

The position operates on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:00 PM–12:15 AM) with pay starting at $19.00/hr and potential to earn up to $25.00/hr including piece-rate incentives. High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
• Must have quick hands and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret written, oral or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize tools to return damaged pallets to service-ready condition.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Plant Management.
• Inspect repaired pallets for quality conformance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per company standards.
• Build and repair pallets to meet production quotas.
• Follow inventory and load-securing procedures.
• Operate a variety of woodworking tools safely.
• Adhere to all safety rules.
