Job summary

PECO Pallet, Inc. is seeking a Pallet Repair Technician to sort and repair returned pallets, learn the PECO pallet specifications, and ensure every pallet leaving the worktable meets standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting pallets from all angles, replacing defective components with supplied tools, restocking lumber, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Safety compliance and adherence to PECO policies are essential.

• Report contamination or potential food safety issues for customers.
• Adhere to PECO safety policies and procedures.

• Sort pallets by lifting them onto the worktable and inspecting them from the top, bottom, and sides.
• Replace any defective components on the pallet using the supplied tools. These tools include Pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Ability to memorize and apply PECO pallet specifications to pallets

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move 65lb pallets repeatedly
• Standing for long periods
• Full range of motion required for reaching, bending, and lifting

Work Conditions

• Work is performed in a fast-paced production environment.
• Pay is based on an incentive plan for both production and quality.
• Work is labor intensive and requires repetitive lifting.
