Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking awarehouse associate to stage, palletize, shrink wrap, and load parts for delivery. The role requires operating a forklift or pallet jack, inspecting trailers, and ensuring accurate, timely shipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, pulling stock orders as needed, supporting other DC shuttles, and following safety procedures. HS diploma or 6 months’ equivalent experience is needed; reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers.
• Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 60 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids (hand trucks, dollies, lifts).

Responsibilities

• Stages product on pallets and shrink wraps to prevent loss.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Loads pallets on trucks with accuracy and speed to ensure correct deliveries.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Keeps work area clean to avoid accidents and enable rapid loading.
• Pulls stock orders as needed for loading.
• Assists with processing other distribution center shuttles.
• Follows safety procedures and regulations at all times.
