Job summary

VPGC, LLC in Hinton, VA is seeking a reliable Pallet Jack Driver to safely move goods between departments in our poultry processing facility.

The ideal candidate will operate power jack trucks, inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating jack trucks or similar equipment.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials in a poultry processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate power jack to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and maintenance standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while operating equipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records and PIT inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to management.
