Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Pallet Jack Operator to collect and deliver products within the plant, using pallet jacks and following safety and quality procedures. The role requires adherence to safety rules, reporting of damaged materials, and participation in team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have shipping/receiving experience and be able to obtain a pallet jack license.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in shipping and receiving.
• Experience working with large moving equipment is desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain pallet jack license.

Responsibilities

• Operates pallet jack to collect and deliver materials between departments.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean and safe following procedures.
• Reports defective materials or equipment to supervisor.
• Completes daily and weekly reports to floor supervisor.
