Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• Experience with operating equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods.

• Check loads are secure and stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks (battery recharge, lubrication).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material as needed.

This role would be suitable for an experienced Equipment Operator of Hilo (a stand-up reach truck), Forklift and Pallet Jack. Must be someone who has previously worked in a Warehouse or Distribution environment.As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for Loading and unloading goods Moving goods packed on pallets around the warehouse facility. Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. Checking loads are secure, stacking empty pallets, performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment, removing machine attachments and waste material from machines, examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. You must have the ability to be highly efficient in the days work given. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in the fast-paced world of distribution.
