Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics is hiring a reliable Pallet & Flat Washer to join our processing team in New Hampshire. You will clean and maintain pallets and flats to meet our hygiene and safety standards, supporting a clean, organized work environment.

This role supports our commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming, with training on a day shift and opportunities for advancement. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Experience in a processing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Turn on and prepare wash tank at the start of shift
• Ensure proper tools and supplies are available for cleaning, scraping, and inspection of pallets
• Inspect pallets as they exit machine for debris, stickers, glue, or any other quality concerns
• Stack cleaned pallets and label as required
• Prepare and operate flats washer
• Load egg flats into flats washer
• Palletize washed flats
• Wrap pallet stacks to prepare for shipments
• Operate electric pallet jacks
• General housekeeping including cleaning eggs off the floor, organization of materials, emptying and cleaning of waste receptacles
• Comply with all food safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and process efficiency
