Pro-Pallet-LL in Harrisburg, PA is hiring for a full-time pallet dismantling position. The role involves operating a dismantling machine, pushing and pulling pallets, and performing quality prep to ensure reusable parts are ready for sorting.

On-the-job training is provided and a weekly attendance bonus complements $11.00/hr starting pay. The job requires 18+, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, standing for the shift, basic math for tape measures, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Pallet Dismantling: operate the pallet dismantling machine and push/pull pallets through the machine; change blades as needed; unjam pallets to minimize downtime.
• Quality Control & Prep: ensure pallets are debris-free; dismantle with minimal damage; remove nails and screws for further processing; send parts to lumber sorter.

Pay: $11.00/hr starting out and a weekly attendance bonus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pallet Dismantling:
  • Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets.
  • As the pusher, push pallets through the machine; as the puller, pull dismantled pallets through the machine.
  • Change broken or loose blades to ensure continuous operation.
  • Unjam pallets or boards stuck in the machine, maintaining minimal downtime.
• Quality Control & Prep:
  • Ensure pallets are free of debris before dismantling.
  • Dismantle pallets in a manner that minimizes damage and cut marks to the materials.
  • Properly prepare dismantled parts by removing protruding nails, screws, and other materials that could affect further processing.
  • Send quality recycled parts to the lumber sorter for further processing.
