Job summary

Stone-Bridge-Personnel is seeking a reliable Pallet Builder to construct and repair wooden pallets and shipping bases for commercial refrigeration equipment. You will operate hand and power tools, follow exact dimensions, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

This is a long-term, growth-oriented position with regular Monday–Friday shifts, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates should be able to lift 50–80 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of pallet building, woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Ability to safely operate nail guns, saws, drills, and other woodworking tools.
• Basic knowledge of lumber sizes and wood construction techniques preferred.
• Stand/walk/bend/twist for an 8- to 10-hour shift; lift 50–80 lbs. comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble wooden pallets, skids, and shipping bases according to required dimensions and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using saws, nail guns, drills, and other hand or power tools.
• Read and follow basic measurements, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Inspect lumber and materials for damage, defects, or improper sizing before use.
• Ensure completed pallets are sturdy, properly assembled, and capable of supporting the intended equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of completed pallets to support production and shipping schedules.
• Organize and properly store lumber, pallets, and other materials in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including removing scrap wood, nails, and other debris.
• Inspect tools and equipment before use and report damaged or unsafe equipment to the supervisor.
• Assist with other production or shipping-related duties as assigned.

Department: Material Handler

Our company is a fast-growing, privately owned refrigeration equipment manufacturer. The Pallet Builder is responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing wooden pallets and shipping bases used to support, store, and transport commercial refrigeration equipment. This position requires the safe operation of hand tools and power tools, accurate measurements, and the ability to follow production specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and assemble wooden pallets, skids, and shipping bases according to required dimensions and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using saws, nail guns, drills, and other hand or power tools.
• Read and follow basic measurements, drawings, and assembly instructions.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and twist for an 8- to 10-hour shift, and comfortably lift 50-80 lbs. throughout the day.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday

6:00 am – 2:30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch

Occasional overtime as required
