Job summary

Clayton in Morristown, TN is seeking a Pallet Builder to assemble pallets for interior doors and shipping. You will place lumber strips, use a nail gun, and stack pallets in the staging area.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team; care about quality.
• Must be detail oriented and work at an efficient pace.
• Must be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Place lumber strip on frame rack and piece together using a nail gun
• Stack finished pallets in staging area
• Disassemble returned pallets from home building facilities and repair
• Ensure work area is clean and organized
• Perform duties in other work area as assigned

Summary

The Pallet Builder assembles pallets to be used for stacking and movement of interior doors

Duties/Responsibilities

• Place lumber strip on frame rack and piece together using a nail gun
• Stack finished pallets in staging area
• Disassemble returned pallets from home building facilities and repair
• Ensure work area is clean and organized
• Perform duties in other work area as assigned
