Job summary

SpatialGIS is seeking an experienced Palantir Platform Engineer to join our Herndon, VA team. You will design and implement data pipelines, connect ETL workflows to Palantir tooling, and drive governance and observability across data transformation stages.

You will leverage PySpark, Python, and modern governance practices to deliver reliable data products for advanced analytics and decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Strong understanding of Data Ontology and ontology modeling.
• Proven expertise in building, scaling ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with logging, monitoring and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of data governance and data product validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Connect ETL conditioners to Palantir tooling to maximize observability.
• Maintain data governance, validation, and data quality frameworks.
• Harness AI/ML to optimize data pipelines and processing speed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on secure, actionable data insights.
