Eaton’s corporate Information Technology team is seeking a Palantir Project Lead to support global manufacturing. This position can be based remotely within the United States. Relocation assistance is not available. 10-20% travel is expected.

We at Eaton are innovating future products with a focus on global sustainability megatrends: Energy Transition, Electrification, and Digital Enablement. In this newly created position, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing projects and building the digital thread across manufacturing with Palantir's Warp Speed technology. As the Palantir Manufacturing Project Lead, you will oversee all manufacturing initiatives, manage the vision and roadmap, ensure progress towards milestones, communicate with stakeholders, and resolve team roadblocks. The role emphasizes Agile practices and Scrum values to boost efficiency and foster continuous improvement.

With a strong technical background in manufacturing systems, you will drive innovation across our manufacturing sites, leading projects that revolutionize our industry.

What You’ll Do
  1. Shape the vision and roadmap for building the manufacturing digital thread, driving innovation and technological advancements across Eaton.
  2. Elevate team performance to deliver capabilities for manufacturing stakeholders, ensuring key milestones are met.
  3. Leverage Agile methodology principles to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
  4. Track and report Agile metrics to provide insights for continuous improvement.
  5. Resolve impediments swiftly and escalate when necessary.
  6. Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and manage dependencies.
  7. Create a trusting environment for issue resolution and open communication.
  8. Manage resource allocation to meet project deliverables.
  9. Communicate risks, status, and updates to stakeholders.
  10. Enhance the Agile maturity of the team continuously.
  11. Oversee cost tracking for Scrum projects to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications
Basic requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience
  • Project management or leadership experience focusing on complex digital manufacturing technologies
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Palantir technology is a plus
  • Experience with change management and implementing new technologies in complex organizations
Skills
  • Expertise deploying solutions in manufacturing environments, including MES, OT, and ERP systems
  • Understanding of product management and modern delivery processes
  • Experience leading software development in Agile environments
  • Knowledge of modern software principles: APIs, microservices, cloud services
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Patience and empathy working with mentees and Agile newcomers
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective listening skills
  • Experience working with diverse, global teams

Salary range: $141,000.03 - $206,800.04 annually. This role is eligible for a variable incentive. Salary is based on skills, experience, and market factors.
