Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Palantir Developer to design, develop, and maintain Palantir Foundry modules and data pipelines. You will ingest and curate data from multiple authoritative sources, build data models, and ensure traceability and quality for financial reporting and analytics.

The role involves cloud-native work in secure AWS/Azure environments, supporting IL4/IL5 architectures. Collaboration with SMEs, analysts, and governance teams is required, with a focus on DoD Advana/Vantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software development, preferably in regulated or federal environments.
• Palantir Foundry experience including Workshop; support for DoD Advana/Vantage is highly desirable.
• Experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark-based data processing.
• Experience with relational/analytical data stores (Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server) and data modeling.
• Experience handling federal financial data with data controls and reconciliation needs.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control, CI/CD concepts, and Agile in secure environments.
• Prior experience in Advana/Vantage ecosystems or DoD enterprise analytics platforms.
• Certifications (Palantir, AWS, Azure, Databricks).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Palantir Foundry workshop modules and data pipelines.
• Ingest, transform, and curate data from authoritative Client source systems.
• Engineer data models, Delta tables, and curated datasets for financial reporting and analytics.
• Develop and deploy Foundry pipelines, transforms, and data products with traceability and lineage.
• Implement CI/CD and version-controlled data engineering workflows.
• Build cloud-native solutions in secure AWS/Azure environments for IL4/IL5 architectures.
• Collaborate with SMEs, analysts, engineers, and governance teams to ensure data standards and controls.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, validation, and monitoring for financial accuracy.
• Support data integration, modernization, and migration to Databricks and Foundry within Advana.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of mission-critical systems.
• Document data flows, designs, and procedures for compliance and accreditation.
• Stay current on DoD data security and compliance frameworks.
