Job Overview

We are seeking a Palantir Foundry Developer with hands-on Palantir Foundry experience to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Direct Care Financial Management (DCFM) by building dashboards, reports, and applications that turn connected financial data into decision-ready, audit-ready products. The role is weighted toward front-end development and analysis in Foundry building and refining the tools, reconciliation views, and exception workflows that DCFM staff rely on—while working comfortably enough across the underlying pipelines and ontology to trace, diagnose, and validate data. It operates in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to respond quickly to ad hoc data requests while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and Workshop applications in Palantir Foundry that DCFM staff use for reconciliation, exception management, and audit response.
• Develop and refine reconciliation, matching, and exception-detection logic on top of the existing ontology to surface breaks, data-quality issues, and audit findings.
• Translate DCFM’s accounting and reconciliation rules into clear requirements and front-end workflows, iterating demo > feedback > refine with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis and validation to confirm reporting outputs are accurate, complete, and audit-ready, and handle ad hoc data requests with quick-turn analyses and visualizations.
• Trace data lineage through existing Foundry pipelines and ontology objects to diagnose issues and perform light transformations, coordinating with data engineers for deeper pipeline or ontology changes.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into reusable reporting products.
• Manage and mentor analysts supporting reporting and analysis initiatives.
• Coordinate and track data calls across teams and leadership groups.
• Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required and Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, especially front-end and analysis tools (Workshop, dashboards, Contour)
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial/operational reporting
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to read and trace Foundry pipelines and ontology objects (Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories); Python a plus
• Experience designing dashboards, reports, and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience translating business or accounting rules into reconciliation, matching, or exception logic
• Demonstrated ability to manage or lead a team, including coaching and workload management
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Security Clearance/Investigation

• Tier 3 (T3) Investigation. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation, with the ability to handle PII and PHI in accordance with DHA and HIPAA requirements.
