Job summary

The Marlin Alliance, Inc. seeks a Palantir Foundry Application Developer to design and build user-facing applications and analytical tools for our Navy customer in San Diego.

The role emphasizes translating mission requirements into data-driven solutions and delivering secure, scalable Foundry-based apps. You will collaborate with solutions architects and data engineers, develop interactive dashboards, and help surface data through Foundry components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of software/application development experience.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience with Workshop/Slate or similar tools.
• Experience building user-facing apps, dashboards or data visualizations.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of frontend basics (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing applications, dashboards, and workflows in Palantir Foundry.
• Create interactive visualizations and analytics tools for mission users.
• Collaborate with solutions architects and data engineers on data pipelines.
• Gather requirements from Navy stakeholders and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Implement frontend components using Foundry Workshop, Slate, or similar tools.
• Perform data analysis to support development, define metrics and validation.
• Write and optimize SQL/Python/Foundry queries for data retrieval.
• Ensure usability, performance and security of applications.
