Job summary

Mobile Modular Portable Storage - A Division of McGrath is hiring for a Yard Paint/Prep role. You will clean, prep and paint modular containers in the yard, often outdoors in varying weather, and ensure every asset leaves prepared and quality checked.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in construction or maintenance and painting experience, with strong communication and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in a construction or maintenance environment.
• Prior painting experience including caulking and tape.
• Basic computer & phone skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely.
• High-energy, can-do, results-driven with integrity.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, prep and paint service on modular containers in the yard.
• Work outside in variable weather conditions including high temperature summer months.
• Have the ability to work independently and take the initiative if direct supervision is not available.
• Ensure each asset leaving is prepared and quality checked.
• Follow all company guidelines for working safely. Actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned

"What You'll Do"

"Nice to Haves"

• Experience repairing containers, van trailers, or metal waste bins
• Painting experience
• Welding experience

Special Considerations:

• Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
• Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities
