Job summary

Fresh Coat Painters is seeking a Project Consultant/Estimator to survey projects, estimate labor and material costs using our branded software, and present proposals in person to customers. Attention to detail and strong estimating skills are essential to meet client expectations and timelines.

You will also identify material options, relay project details to the Project Manager, and maintain comprehensive documentation while exploring new business opportunities through events and outreach.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in painting home services.
• Sales and customer relations experience.
• On-the-job training/experience.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Time management planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill client appointments in a timely manner.
• Assess projects by identifying project requirements, regarding time, labor, and material costs.
• Act as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates.
• Present estimates to clients in-person in a professional manner
• Recommend material options.
• Communicate job details to the Project Manager and Crew Team Leader
• Maintain thorough records of all project documentation, including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation Using our Fresh Coat Branded software.
• Seek out new opportunities through, but not limited to, attending Networking events, ground floor marketing tactics, and cold calling on potential clients.
