Fresh Coat Painters in Stamford-Greenwich, CT is seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and scale our growing painting business. You will own the lifecycle from customer estimates to final project signoffs and manage both people and processes with high autonomy.

The role requires hands-on leadership in scheduling, budgeting, hiring, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Clear, customer-first communication style.
• Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Experience as a field project manager or team leader in painting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Google suite.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Seek out new painting opportunities and grow the customer base.
• Attend networking events to generate leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points.
• Manage sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, close deals monthly/quarterly.
• Follow branded customer service process to win projects.
• Follow up with undecided customers on proposals.
• Coordinate with clients on needs and expectations.
• Plan and oversee painting projects from start to finish.
• Select and manage employee painters and subcontractors.
• Schedule and supervise painting crews.
• Ensure quality control on all projects.
• Monitor budgets and track expenses to stay within costs.
• Report to Owner on sales pipeline and operations.
