Qualifications

• Completion of painter qualification courses.
• Technical school training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Ability to read structural drawings, schematics, technical instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to learn and use various computer applications.
• Working knowledge of air/gas compressors, generators, and basic manufacturing tools and equipment.
• US Person requirements under ITAR, 22 CFR § 120.62 for access to export-controlled information or materials.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any DoD security clearance if applicable.

The Painter / Utility Worker is responsible for prepping and painting compressors and related components, maintaining paint equipment, supporting production tasks, and ensuring high-quality, on-time completion of painted products.

• Location: Sparks Proper, NV


• Pay:$22.00–$25.50/hr DOE.


• Schedule:5:45 AM – 2:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prep, mask, clean, and paint compressors, generators, and associated parts.


• Maintain accurate paint logs in accordance with company policies.


• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and best practices .


• Maintain the paint booth and equipment; complete weekly 5S cleanings and audits .


• Support packaging and general production tasks as needed.


• Operate a forklift to move and transport components ( forklift certification required ).


• Perform additional duties as assigned by Operations and Production leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete and maintain required painter qualification courses.


• Technical school training or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.


• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable company driving requirements.


• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, schematics, technical instructions, and manuals.


• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages, ratios, and fractions.


• Ability to learn and use various computer applications required for the position.


• Working knowledge of air/gas compressors, generators, and basic manufacturing tools and equipment.


• Must meet applicable U.S. Person requirements under ITAR, 22 CFR § 120.62, as required for access to export-controlled information or materials associated with this position.
