Hey there — I’m Jon, owner of Hanks Painting Services here in Pittsburgh. Business has been picking up, and I’m looking for one person to team up with me on a part-time basis this summer.

This isn’t an hourly gig — this is an opportunity to learn the trade, work side-by-side with me on real projects, and share in the success of our work through a profit split model.

This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, reliable, motivated, and looking to get into a skilled trade the right way. Experience is strongly preferred, but not necessary — I’ve got 10+ years under my belt and will train you myself. What I need is someone with a good attitude, a strong work ethic, and a respect for doing the job right.

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Working side-by-side with me on interior and exterior painting jobs

-Learning tools of the trade: prep, clean lines, cutting in, trim work, finishes - professional work from someone who cares about quality

-Over time, learning how to estimate, communicate with clients, and think like a pro

-Taking pride in craftsmanship and helping raise the standard for blue-collar work
