Powder Painter - 1st Shift - ACI Oshkosh


If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. ACI is looking for a Powder Painter on 1st shift at our Oshkosh, WI facility.


Responsibilities:



  • Paint a variety of both large and small parts.

  • Set up color changes and create color change recipes to ensure appropriate color.

  • Maintain a clean powder booth especially after a color change.

  • Adjust spray guns to obtain the best finish requirements and economy.

  • Perform necessary identification and paperwork in connection with packing of completed painted parts for shipping.

  • Visually check parts for defects/craftsmanship prior to packing.

  • Accurately document all physical inventory movements and complete correct computer entries for all inventory transactions.

  • Clean tool and booth at the end of each shift.

  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues.

  • Communicate with team members daily.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.

  • Prior experience painting of both large and small parts on a moving line.

  • Previous experience in industrial powder painting and color changes preferred but not required.

  • Position requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
