Job summary

Dakota Bodies, LLC is seeking a Powder Coat Line Painter to prepare surfaces, apply powder coat, and ensure quality per customer and company specs. The role covers training across the powder coat line and working in a team environment.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, DOE, with a $2.00/hour second shift differential. Candidates must be able to operate line equipment, wear a respirator, and perform paint rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience painting in an industrial setting.
• The successful candidate will be able to proficiently perform each of the duties listed above.

Responsibilities

• The ability to work as a team, follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by paint lead
• Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment required for surface preparation, primer and topcoat application.
• Cleaning and maintaining of all equipment and booths
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment to prime truck bodies
• Make paint rework repairs as needed
• Employee must be able to work in a respirator
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

2nd Shift Differential is an additional $2.00/hour

The Powder Coat Line Painter will be responsible for proper preparation of product and equipment, applying powder coat, and ensuring quality per customer and company specifications. They will be able to work and train all aspects of the powder coat line.
