Prepares and paints all surfaces, assuring quality and durability.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-time Year-round
Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)
Pay: $19.75
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities- Perform all assignments requested assuring safety, quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness
- Protects all surfaces during preparation and painting, avoiding damage or additional works resulting from overspray, spills, drips, etc
- Applies latex, oil base, solvent base, mastic and epoxy coatings, ensuring highest quality and maximum durability
- Uses and maintains all paint equipment
- Tapes, textures, patches and repairs drywall
- Applies acoustic ceiling applications
- Mixes and blends paint
- Operates sand blasting equipment
- Work hours, shifts, overtime and on-call shifts, or other work as deemed necessary and/ or assigned by Director of Engineering
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Minimum 6 months experience preferred
- Working knowledge of safe operation and proper maintenance of hand and power tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements include:
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to climb and work from a ladder up to 40 feet from ground level
- Ability to enter and work in crawl spaces and attics
- Must be able to withstand working in extreme temperatures
