Qualifications

• Knowledge of painting and wallpapering techniques.
• Knowledge of preparing surfaces for painting or wallpapering.
• Ability to select, use, maintain and clean brushes, rollers and other painting tools.
• Skill in using brushes, rollers, spray guns and wallpapering tools.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and applies paint to interior and exterior of buildings, furniture, etc., with brushes, roller, and sprayer.
• Work will be of the highest quality to assure optimum customer satisfaction.
• Prepares surfaces to be painted by sandblasting, pressure washing, scraping, caulking, sanding, and applying paint removers.
• Repairs holes in walls as directed by Supervisor.
• Completes daily work sheets and keeps storage areas clean and orderly.
• Builds scaffolds as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
