PLEASE REVIEW ALL SECTIONS OF THE APPLICATION TO ENSURE THAT IT IS FULLY COMPLETED.DEFINITIONUnder the direction of an assigned Administrator or Supervisor, perform skilled work in painting, redecorating, and surface preparation; perform preventative maintenance on painted surfaces; clean, prepare and paint a variety of surfaces and maintain in an attractive condition; identify necessary repairs; ensure availability of supplies required for the job assignment; perform semi-skilled and skilled functions in other maintenance trade areas; ensure assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner; perform other job-related duties as assigned and/or as required.Experience: A minimum of three years paid, journey level painter experience within the last ten years. Recent job-related experience within the last five years is required. Education: Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree, required at the time of employment.License Requirement: Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.Condition of Employment: May require insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier. Finalists scheduled for an interview must provide a current DMV printout (not more than 30 days old) prior to the interview.
