Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Paint Support I/II to safely assist paint operations. Shifts run 5:30am–3:30pm Monday–Thursday with overtime Fridays as needed; pay rate is $18.85/hour. Eligible candidates will support paint line activities and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, loading/unloading parts, and contributing to quality outcomes. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with potential for Level II line setting duties.

Paint Support is expected to safely perform all aspects of support for paint operations.

Responsibilities:

Paint Support I

• Line setting.

• Understanding of packaged parts.

• Communicates with material handlers and maintenance.

• Complete supervised maintenance activities.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
