GENERAL SUMMARY
The Painter II has a specialized focus in drywall, drop ceilings, wall vinyl installation, and is responsible for the maintenance of all interior and exterior surfaces of the hotel, casino, and back of house Team Member areas. Responsible for any on-site buildings, structures, and walls and traditional finishes.
FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTABILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. May serve as a resource to level I Painter positions for guidance with drywall, drop ceiling, and wall vinyl repairs and installations. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.
QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; must have eight (8) years of experience as a painter with at least two (2) years’ experience using an airless sprayer along with four (4) years of experience with drywall and drop ceiling repair and installation. In addition, this position requires four (4) years of experience with wall vinyl installation and repair.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. This position also requires the ability to write simple correspondence. The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other Team Members of the organization is required as well.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs is required as well.
REASONING ABILITY: This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The ability to work with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations is required as well.
