SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
  • Follow established work procedures to minimize rework and scrap
  • Prepare parts for painting or powder coating by sanding down units and/or masking units
  • Apply paint or protective coatings to a variety of sized partsusing a spray gun
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
  • Dispose of hazardous waste inan appropriate manner
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Uphold the company core values
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
