Job Summary

Follows work orders, paints a variety of items in proper protective manner, and cleans and maintains equipment

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Information:

  • Paints a variety of items as required by process or customer requirements
  • Applies paint in proper protective or cosmetic manner
  • Uses a variety of paints depending on applications
  • Cleans and maintains equipment
  • Performs final inspection of unit
  • Operates lift truck to move product as needed
  • Follows work orders and simple instructions where establishment process is determined
  • Cleans booth and changes filters
  • Uses PPE including respirator or air make-up devices
  • Exercises good housekeeping in work area.
  • Observes good safety practices in performance of job
  • Other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

Necessary Skills:

  • Requires ability to read and write, follow work orders and specific instructions

Requires three to six months experience to master painting techniques, cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment, booth and filters

Additional Job Details
