FULL-TIME POSITION ON 2nd SHIFT.

Starting pay: $18.00

Schedule: 4/10 work schedule (Monday - Thursday), with some overtime on Friday as needed.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred

Certifications: Forklift certification, if necessary

Quality Metrics:

• Scrap Dollars
• Rejected or reworked painted parts

Minimum Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer (email, data entry, touch screens for equipment)
• Introductory Level: Focus on learning the process

• Successful completion of the introductory period (6 months)
• Understands, accepts, and supports company vision and key goals
• Supports and maintains a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace

• Basic understanding and support for team and continuous improvement
• Resolves problems at the lowest possible level
• Identifies possible solutions when communicating problems
• Follows rules of conduct at all times
• Adheres to standard work procedures

• Understands the importance of safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Responsive to internal and external customer needs

Essential Functions (Maximum timeframe: 6 months)

• Properly inspect, load, and unload the paint system
• Prepare parts for painting (sanding, plugging, eye bolts, etc.)
• Load, unload, and operate the burn-off oven
• Follow work instructions and quality standards
• Understand and document processes (ISO, Windchill, Kanban, TKSs)

• Understand system sequencing
• Understand kanban systems and their components (including FIFO supermarket)
• Operate sequencing computer systems
• Train others in all aspects of the position
