Summary:

The Painter Helper will assist in the paint department with various functions. The role requires attention to detail, an eye for defects, safety consciousness, teamwork, a positive attitude, and good attendance.

Job Description:

Reports To: Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location: Kansas City, MO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Mask surfaces and protect equipment with cloth or plastic.
  • Fill cracks, holes, and joints as per specifications.
  • Erect scaffolding and rigging to access difficult areas.
  • Remove paint splatters and clean equipment.
  • Operate forklift to move parts and materials.
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area.
  • Follow safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Hang and remove parts from paint racks.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting and install coatings.
  • Assemble small parts, including minor wiring.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
