Job Summary:
The Painter Helper assists skilled painters in the preparation, application, and finishing of paint or coatings on vehicles, machinery, or other objects. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. As a helper, you will support the painting and bodywork process while ensuring that work areas are safe, clean, and properly maintained.
Essential Functions:
Fills cavities and dents with putty to create a smooth surface.

Understanding different types of paints and coatings, as well as their proper application Good verbal communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of reading services and repair manuals. Skilled at completing repairs efficiently and within the required timeframe. Able to interpret and follow work orders.
Physical Demands:
Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity to handle tools and small parts. Must be able to work in tight spaces. Stand for prolonged periods of time.
Exposure to hazardous conditions and equipment that may result in minor injuries. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots may be required to ensure safety while handling parts and equipment. Work both indoors and outdoors.
