Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in the United States is seeking a Painter/Handyman to maintain the facility’s appearance and functionality through painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep in an onsite role. You will perform interior and exterior painting, touch up walls and floors, carry out basic repairs, and operate a scissor lift when needed, all while following safety procedures.

This role demands at least 3 years of painting/handyman experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage

• Proven knowledge of painting techniques, tools, materials, and surface preparation.
• Experience performing a variety of general repair and improvement tasks.
• Ability to safely operate a scissor lift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple small projects.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing.

• Complete general handyman tasks such as minor repairs, fixture replacements, basic carpentry, and small improvement projects.
• Repair or replace items such as doors, locks, trim, shelving, and other non-technical components.
• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely to complete elevated work assignments.
• Follow all company safety procedures and ensure work areas remain safe and organized.
• Identify and report larger or technical maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
• Assist with facility organization and improvement initiatives as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Painter/Handyman is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the manufacturing facility through painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep. This role focuses on non-technical, non-maintenance tasks that improve the condition and presentation of the plant. The position supports a safe, clean, and organized work environment by completing a variety of small improvement projects and repairs.

Hourly range is $20-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scissor lifts
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

Additional Information

This role is not responsible for mechanical or technical maintenance of machinery but plays a key role in maintaining the facility's appearance, safety, and overall condition.
