Job Title: Painter

Pay:

Location: Kissimmee, FL

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Only candidates that meet the below qualifications will be considered

Job Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, varnishing, patching, plaster and drywall, caulking, and sanding. Use of paint spray equipment, both airless and cup gun and use of spray texture equipment.
• Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
• Respond to guest room calls as required.
• Complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to hotel safety standards.
• Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.
• Assist other departmental craft workers as required.
• Perform all duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team.
• Participate in OSHA/Safety programs within the hotel through awareness in every day job functions and participate on the Hotel’s Emergency Evacuation Team.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
• Completing any other task/duties assigned

Qualifications

• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
• At least 3 years in related field is required.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
