Lockheed Martin is seeking an Aircraft Painter to prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply primer, finish, and protective coatings to aircraft parts and assemblies. You will read work orders and drawings to determine paint types, colors, coats, and areas to be painted, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
The role requires at least one year of spray painting experience (aircraft or auto body) and familiarity with decals and stencils.
ou will be the Aircraft Painter for the team which is responsible for setting up various types of spray painting equipment and applying primer, finish, and protective paint and paint‑like coatings to parts and subassemblies.
As the Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for obtaining paint types, colors, number of coats, and areas to be painted from work orders, engineering drawings, and process specifications.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced painter with a strong knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment. You will have excellent problem‑solving skills, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications, and the ability to work with decimals, fractions, and proportions.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Work schedule 3x12 - Fri/Sat/Sun (Mon-Thur Off)
A Candidate is required to have the following minimum level of experience: 1. One year of production spray painting experience, either aircraft or auto body. (ability to operate spray painting equipment and use acceptable spray painting techniques).
OR2.
One year’s experience in the application of decals and spraying stencils, or other equivalent experience.
Commercial or Military Aircraft painting.
